Welcome to the Department of Anesthesiology. Since our department was founded in 1970, its educational, clinical and research activities have grown dramatically. Our residency program has a broad range of experiences and teaching in all of the subspecialties.
The program is approved by the Accreditation Committee for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) with our next self-study date scheduled for 2021, and offers ACGME-approved fellowships in pain management, cardiac anesthesia, critical care and pediatric anesthesia, as well as a fellowship in neuroanesthesia. We are also pleased to announce that we have permanently increased the number of available positions in our residency match to eight.
