Congenital Cardiac Surgery Fellowship Program

The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center offer a two-year accredited fellowship in congenital cardiac surgery. We are one of only 14 programs in the country accredited by the ACGME, leading to eligibility for subspecialty certification in Congenital Cardiac Surgery by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. Our fellows received intensive training in all aspects of congenital heart surgery including heart and lung transplantation. The Division performs over 600 cardiac surgeries annually.
